#100DaysOfBulletJournalIdeas: 39 - How personalizing the Front Cover of your Bullet Journal can inspire you

Welcome to Day 39 of my #100DaysofBulletJournalIdeas Project!

Idea 39: Front Cover

Front Cover

This idea isn't just for Bullet Journals, you could also do it with basically any notebook. I'm sure people have been adding decoration to the front cover of their notebooks for eons, that's not really something new. I did want to include it in this series, however, just in case you may not have considered it before.

It can be a fun way to personalize your Bullet Journal and show off your style a bit. It can make you smile, chuckle, or inspire you.

When I was perusing the Target Dollar Spot recently, I saw these awesome flower letters stickers that I couldn't resist grabbing. I just knew that I would put them to good use. After thinking it over for a while, I decided to add an inspiring word to the front cover of my 2017 Blog Bullet Journal.

Adding an inspiring word to the front cover of your Bullet Journal can help encourage and motivate you on a daily basis

It encourages and inspires me to work away on the doings for my sweet website with its cheeriness enticing me to open it up and get to work. Sometimes that little extra pep can be an extra boost of motivation and fun.

Do you add anything to the front cover of your Bullet Journal?

Story Time

A few years ago when my boyfriend and I were getting into the Bullet Journal, we went to our local Artist and Craftsman Supply store and picked up a couple black dotted A5 Leuchtturm1917 notebooks (the only color they had at the time in that size and style). As soon as we got home, we rewatched Ryder's Bullet Journal video and eagerly set up our Bullet Journals. It wasn't long before my sweetie added a few fun stickers to the front of his Bullet Journal. I think one was one of the archival labels that came with it, another was a sticker about reading and a few others. I always loved that he added those stickers to his Bullet Journal, it was such a fun way to show off his style. :)

P.S. If you're new to the Bullet Journal®, I recommend checking out BulletJournal.com, it was invented by Ryder Carroll. Ryder is an awesome human that walks you through how to set up your own Bullet Journal with his handy tutorial video that you can check out at BulletJournal.com!
