#100DaysOfBulletJournalIdeas: 13 - Add Quotes to your Bullet Journal to Gain Clarity

Welcome to Day 13 of my #100DaysofBulletJournalIdeas Project!

Idea 13: Add Quotes

Add Quotes

Adding quotes is a fun and simple way to practice your handwriting or decorate your Bullet Journal, but there are also other reasons to include quotes and drawings in your Bullet Journal.

Release emotions through words & art

To some, adding a quote or drawing in your Bullet Journal may seem like a waste of space, albeit a beautiful one, but to me one of the reasons I do it is because it's about bringing into focus a certain part of life I'm currently going through. By pausing for a moment I can get out my emotions through a bit of writing and drawing.

I've turned to writing and art my entire life to help me deal with whatever it is I'm going through. I thought about the words that could encapsulate what I was going through and carefully worded this quote to reveal that.

I was feeling off, and quite frankly a bit stuck in certain areas of my life at the time, so I poured that out into this page in exactly the way I needed. I needed space to think along with a bit of simplicity and beauty.

By figuring out the words for the moment of time you're in and commemorating them in your Bullet Journal in some way, you can push through those feelings by stepping back and figuring out the steps to move forward, just as the quote says.

Have you ever found yourself feeling a moment of clarity with your Bullet Journal through words and images? Remember that it doesn't have to be beautiful to be cathartic, but it does need to be real.
