Welcome to Day 2 of my #100DaysofBulletJournalIdeas!
Day 2: The Intention Wheel.
Today I'm excited to present officially on the blog: The Intention Wheel!
I like the sound of Habit Wheel and Tracker Wheel, but I feel like Intention Wheel adds the right message because it's not just about tracking things or focusing on habits...there's more going on behind the scenes, there's intention with improving your life through tracking and habit formation. It's all of it, and I think the word intention does a great job of bringing that all together in one simple word.
When my lovely friend Dee, from Decade Thirty, told me about her Calendar Wheel, and later on shared it with the world, I thought it was a fantastic idea. She had seen the idea from a post on the Moleskine website and adapted it to suit her needs. When she shared the Calendar Wheel, everyone just fell head over heels for it. It makes sense why; it's a great idea and visually fun.
- this was a future planning hack I created in March which I've called the calendar wheel. I was inspired by something similar I found on the Moleskine website a few years back and wanted to give it my spin. I love mind mapping and my brain functions visually so this was something I toyed with and worked well. I basically wrote down all events, appointments, birthdays and connected them to the corresponding date/day on the wheel. Thinking of doing again for July and possibly selling some blank ones in my Etsy store. Hmmm, now to find the time to actually do it hahaha hope everyone is having a fab start to their week! 😄💕 UPDATE: for those wondering, this was hand drawn by me using mathematical instruments 😁 all my etsy products are hand drawn #bulletjournal #bulletjournaljunkies #midoritravelersnotebook #plannerd #planning #calendar #handwriting #writing #mindmap #notes #notebookaddict #stationery #journal #journaling #wearebujo #calendarwheel #BulletJournalMonthlyLog
I love it. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be a great way to track things like the ever popular trackers out there, but in a circular manner.
The Week-long Intention Wheel
Last year I shared a week version with the circles for the days of the week, and the slices for the habits. You could also inverse these if you wanted.
Playing off Dee's @decadethirty #calendarwheel, I was inspired to create this #habitwheel concept with the rounds going outward for days of the week (could also make much bigger for the month), with each slice as a habit. So each day you fill in the day for that slice, over time seeing it fill it up in a fun way! 😄 The wheel extends 8 squares total. #bulletjournal #BulletJournalCollection
The Month-long Intention Wheel
Recently, I shared a version with the wheels as the things you are tracking, and the slices as the days.
Last year my lovely friend Dee @DecadeThirty shared her #calendarwheel that she adapted from someone else. Her calendar wheel inspired me to create a circular tracker, which I call the #habitwheel or #trackerwheel depending on your preference and whether you're tracking a combo or only habits you're working on building. Last year I shared a weekly #habitwheel, here's a monthly #habitwheel / #trackerwheel 😊 As you fill it in, over time the segments will fill in to create circles, with the things that help make you feel whole - which is what circles symbolize! 💛 • My favorite is when we inspire one another and give each other a shout out in appreciation for sharing the idea ☀️💕 #BulletJournal #BulletJournalCollection #BulletJournalTracker #habittracking #tracking #tracker
Another version I thought of was the wheels as the days and the slices as the habits, which is just the extended version of the original week-long Intention Wheel I had shared.
Here's an update on the Intention Wheel so far with a sunshine theme! Filled with my favorite yellow pen, a Papermate Flair, of course! :)

I've been asked to make templates of these - I'm working on them, so make sure to sign up to the newsletter to be updated on when they're ready!
Please do NOT make this design into a printable or anything else you plan on selling. This is my design, I appreciate you respecting that.
